The Center for Children and Families at UB is pleased to offer the ADHD Teen Group Clinical Services for Teens with ADHD.
Who is eligible: The program is open to adolescents in grades 7-10 with social and behavioral problems related to ADHD.
What is it: The program will focus on forming positive interpersonal relationships with peers, developing the social skills needed to succeed in adolescence, and social problem-solving. Adolescents will participate in recreational sports activities, discussion groups, and a teen “issues” group.
When: The spring session runs every other Tuesday beginning on February 3, 2009 through May 19, 2009 from 6:00 - 8:30 pm.
Where: All activities will take place on UB’s Main Street Campus. Adolescents should be dropped off in the lobby area of Diefendorf Hall between 5:45pm and 6:00pm.
Cost: The spring session (8 meetings) is $240.00 payable by check or credit card on or before the date of the first meeting your child attends.
