Saturday Treatment Program

The Center for Children and Families (CCF) of UB is pleased to announce that we will be offering a Saturday Treatment Program for Children with ADHD.

Who is Eligible? The program is open to parents and their children in grades K-7 with behavioral problems.

What is it? The child portion of the program focuses on developing social and sports skills to promote positive peer relationships. A parent workshop will run concurrently to teach parents about evidence-based treatments for their children.

When? The program consists of 3 sessions. Each session is 2 hours, from 9 am to 11 am. Session 1 runs from October 13, 2007 to December 8, 2007. Session 2 runs from January 19, 2008 to March 8, 2008, and Session 3 runs from March 29, 2008 to May 17, 2008.

Where? All activities will take place on UB's Main Street Campus. Children may be dropped off in the lobby ara of Diefendorf Hall between 8:45 am and 9:00 am. Most activities will be held at the Clark Hall Gym or on the adjacent field (weather permitting). Parent workshops will be held in Diefendorf Hall.

Cost? $200.00 per session payable by check or credit card on or before the first session you attend (Parents may apply for a reduced fee or a payment schedule. Please request a seperate application if interested).

Rolling Enrollment? Although the program is divided into 3 sessions, we will allow for rolling enrollment in sessions 1 and 2. Families who enroll in session 1 or session 2 after the start date can make up missed sessions during the next session.
