Saturday Treatment Program (SatTP)

The Center for Children and Families (CCF) of UB is pleased to announce that we will be offering a Saturday Treatment Program for Children with ADHD.


Who is Eligible? The program is open to parents and their children in grades K-6 with behavioral problems.

 

What is it? The child portion of the program focuses on developing social and sports skills to promote positive peer relationships. A parent workshop will run concurrently to teach parents about evidence-based treatments for their children.


When? The program consists of 3 sessions. Each session is 2 hours, from 9 am – 11 am. Session 1 runs from October 10, 2009 through December 5, 2009. Session 2 runs from February 6, 2010 through March 20, 2010 (6 weeks; no class on 3/13/10). Session 3 runs from March 27, 2010 through May 8, 2010 (6 weeks; no class on 4/3/10).


Where? All activities will take place on UB's Main Street Campus. Children may be dropped off in the lobby ara of Diefendorf Hall between 8:45 am and 9:00 am. Most activities will be held at the Clark Hall Gym or on the adjacent field (weather permitting). Parent workshops will be held in Diefendorf Hall.


Cost? Session 1: $240.00, Session 2: $180.00, Session 3: $180.00

 

Rolling Enrollment? Although the program is divided into 3 sessions, we will allow for rolling enrollment in sessions 1 and 2. Families who enroll in session 1 or session 2 after the start date can make up missed sessions during the next session.

Once your registration form is received, you will be mailed or emailed a confirmation letter and a permission form. Families who do not have Client Application Forms on file at the CCF will need to complete these documents before enrollment can occur to assist in treatment planning. Please call Karen at (716) 829-2244 x 182 to have these forms mailed.


We accept checks made out to UB Foundation, Visa and Master Card. If you are paying by credit card, please contact Karen at 829-2244 ext. 182.


Please note that because ths is a social skills training program, low enrollment in a session may force us to cancel that session. In the event of session cancellation, full refunds will be granted.
